The Richard D, Simpson Scholarship fund empowers learners in Jamaica and the diaspora who display strong potential for excellent achievement but lack the financial resources to experience higher levels of education on their own. Our passion to uplift young minds finds consolation in our expectation that our successful candidates will in turn engender positive social change in their respective communities.
The Richard D. Simpson Scholarship Fund Inc. ( RDSSF) was launched by Yvonne Simpson, in Queens New York, in August 2010. The fund is a nonprofit organization under section 501 (C) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Its principal purpose was to bring alive the dream of the late Richard D. Simpson to give back to his alma mater-the New Day Primary & Junior High School and to his country of birth, Jamaica West Indies.
We are proud to partner with a variety of local organizations to provide the best possible support to our clients. From small enterprises to healthcare providers, our partners help us extend our reach and impact in the community. One small change in one remote community might become a giant step in a world of limitless prospects.
